Laura qualified from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 2009 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health, where she received the Johnson & Johnson award for Oral Health Communication and Education.
Since graduating, Laura has worked in general and specialist dental practices here in Auckland, and abroad in London including volunteering in Cambodia in 2009 and 2013.
She is passionate about her work, whether assisting patients with cleaning and maintenance of their teeth and dental implants or teaching and educating how to better improve their oral hygiene. She enjoys working together with her patients to tailor a personalised hygiene program to suit them and their oral health needs. Laura’s warm and friendly manner helps put even the most nervous patients at ease.
She regularly attends courses and post graduate training and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest developments. When she’s not working she’s kept busy running after her young daughter, Adia.
